Ronj Summit

Ronj Mountain is located in an area between the two provinces of Fars and Kohgiluyeh va Boyer Ahmad. It is bounded with Sepidan to the north and Noor Abad to its 50 km west. Its sharp tower is completely visible when driving on the road from Shiraz to Sepidan. This tower is located along the southern ridge of Dena Mountain. Komehr village is on the north of this ridge and its southern ridge is bounded to some small separated mountains.

Attractions

Visiting the towers of Hejal-e Dena and passing through the summer snow are among the attractions of this tour. The valley of Kor River seems to be very deep and the summits of Saran Mountain look really nice.

In Winter

The heavy snow around the shelter and the roaring wind on its ridge are the difficulties for ascending the Ronj summit in winter. We suggest July and August as the best time for enjoying this tour.

Day 1: Drive from Shiraz to Sepidan at 6 am for about 1 hour and a half. We will eat lunch in Sepidan and then move toward Shekarak ski band. We will hike for one and half hours to pass the Ronj shelter. We will stay overnight down the summit where you can find a spring.

Day 2: Hike the mountain to reach the summit for 4 hours. Then we will return to the camp to have lunch and finally move back toward the main road to go to Shiraz.
