Sarakchal Summit (Central Alborz)

Sarakchal Summit is one of the central summits of Alborz. It is situated on the north of Tehran. The weather is too cold in Winter and there are a lot of snow there. It is also possible to climb the summit in Spring, but due to the glaciers, we need to have crampon.

Day 1: Drive from Tehran to Shemshak village at 12 (about one and a half hour driving). Then from there, we will move to a mountaineer’s house to stay there overnight.

Day 2: At 7 am, we will move toward the summit and then back to the house in which we rested last night. In the afternoon, we will return to Shemshak and then to Tehran.
