Shirkouh Summit

The altitudes attributed to Shirkouh are located in Yazd Province in the heard of desert. Two towns of Taft and Nir are respectively located in its northeast and south. Abarkouh is also at the end of its west and Sanich village in its north.

Attractions

One of the most important features of Shirkouh region is the solid wall of Tezerjan with the height of 350m near the north spur toward the east.

Day 1: In a wonderful early spring, we will leave Yazd toward Taft and from there to Deh-e Bala by car and continue along the south of Shirkouh to reach Agha Mohsen farm. We will stay overnight in a suitable place in the farm.

Day 2: We will continue our route early in the morning. First we will walk along the valley of the river and then a little bit toward the west. After ascending the summit, we will return to Agha Mohsen village and then drive back to Taft and Yazd. (We can stay overnight in Yazd if wish to)
