Bel Summit
Altitude: 3943m
Difficulty:
Best Time: Spring
Tour Length: 3 days
Due to the beautiful blossoms and young trees, it is one of the fascinating
places in Spring. The rocky appearance of Bel Mountain in its south is one of
the wonderful natural landscapes. Bel Mountain or Shir Sang is located on the south
of Eghlid.
Passing through the city, we will enjoy crossing several small
and big gardens to the south to reach a sugar refinery.
Topography of the Region
The semi-rocky Bel summit is bounded with Kouh-e Sephid to its
south by a high pass and to Gourak mountain (3500m) to the northeast. The other
sides of this summit are completely open.
In Winter
The climate of the summit in winter is specified by the heavy
and harsh wind storms. We should ascend the summit from the north spur of Gourak and continues with a small turning to the southwest. Horrible avalanche
threatens the surrounding valleys seriously. But due to the wind storms, there
isn’t too much snow on the ridge.
