Binaloud Summit

Binaloud Summit

Altitude: 3250m

Difficulty:

Best Time: Summer

Tour Length: 3 days

This summit is located in Ala Dagh mountain in north of Khorasan province which stretches from east to west. Among the summits of this mountain we can point out to Binaloud, Shah Jahan and Ala Dagh.

We can climb Binaloud Summit in two and half days during Summer and 3 nice-weather days in Winter. It has two different climbing routes from which we are going to introduce the north way from Farizi village south of Chenaran.

We can use the public mini-buses in the special terminal going from Mashhad to Farizi everyday at 8 am. It takes two hours to reach Farizi, one of the biggest and most wonderful summer resorts in Khorasan, by these mini-buses. Then, we should walk toward the Imamzadeh there and after going through the two low passes which take about 3 hours, we reach the Khancheh (hut) of Haj Ebrahim across the steep hill at the end of the road. This hut was belonged to Mr. Haji Ebrahimi which has now changed to a shelter for mountaineers.

The next morning we can move to Olang Khan (it takes 5 hours in Summer and 8 hours in Winter). Here, a shelter has been made by the Khorasani Mountain climbers near Zir Soozani Dovom spring. The height of Olang is 2850m.

We will stay overnight in the shelter and the next morning we are going to have a steep climbing on a summit. After returning in 3 hours, we will go down the mountain toward Mashhad.
