Ghal'e
Sefid, an ancient castle constructed in a mountain, is located 163 km west of
Shiraz, next to Noor Abad village. Over centuries this castle was used as a
prison in hands of great kings such as Lotf Ali Khan-e Zand. Many great events
happened in this prison over the years. Visiting this castle is worthy in
regards to the historical background as well as an eco-touring experiences. For
the latter you can spend some pleasant moments wandering in the Zagros
Mountains.

Itinerary:
Depart
Shiraz for Noor Abad (3 hrs), en route visit Arjen Plain (spring & lake). Climb
the mountain towards the castle (3 hrs) and visit the castle (2 hrs). Then
return to Noor Abad, en route visit Saa waterfall. Finally return to Shiraz (2
hrs).
