142 km southwest of Shiraz are several outstanding sites date back to Elamite (3-5 thousands years ago) and Sassanid eras (1800 years ago). These monuments are interesting and worth visiting. On your return way to Shiraz visit the historical sites of Bishapour and Tang-e Chogan.
