Damavand is the highest mountain in Iran and the
largest cone-shaped one in the entire world. Still emitting sulfur, Damavand is
home to many natural beauties. The southern direction is the easiest one,
alongside which, on the way back, visiting the villages of Polour and Rineh and
relaxing in the curative spas in Larijan are the big pluses.

Day 1:
At 5 am
drive from Tehran to Polour (85 km, 1:30 hr). Have breakfast in Polour and then in a
4WD continue the way to Gousfandsara (1 hr). Along this way you will witness the
wonderful flora of Alborz which is fully covered by flower and wild plants.
Start climbing off to Bargah-e Sevom (4210 m, 5 hrs). Set up camp and stay overnight there.

Day 2:
Today set
out an acclimatization trip from Bargah-e Sevom to the Yakhi (icy) waterfall located
4800-4900 m. Return downwards to get ready for the next day's capture of the
peak. Stay overnight in Bargah-e Sevom.
Day 3:
3:30 a.m.
depart Bargah-e Sevom towards the summit. Along the way visit Yakhi (icy) Waterfall, the
beautiful landscapes of Doberar Mountain and the sulfur hill. 6 hours climbing,
we will capture the highest point at Iran plateau literary known as the Roof of
Iran. Explore atop (30 mins) and visit the sceneries. Return to Bargah-e Sevom (4 hrs), pack the luggage to descend to
Gousfandsara (3 hrs). Drive to Abgarm region to relax in the spas and wipe away
the exhaustion.

Day 4:
Visit the villages of Abgarm and Rineh, and then return to Tehran. Arrival
Tehran is around noon.
