Damavand is the highest mountain in Iran and the largest cone-shaped one in the entire world. Still emitting sulfur, Damavand is home to many natural beauties. The southern direction is the easiest one, alongside which, on the way back, visiting the villages of Polour and Rineh and relaxing in the curative spas in Larijan are the big pluses.

Day 1:

At 5 am drive from Tehran to Polour (85 km, 1:30 hr). Have breakfast in Polour and then in a 4WD continue the way to Gousfandsara (1 hr). Along this way you will witness the wonderful flora of Alborz which is fully covered by flower and wild plants. Start climbing off to Bargah-e Sevom (4210 m, 5 hrs). Set up camp and stay overnight there.

Day 2:

Today set out an acclimatization trip from Bargah-e Sevom to the Yakhi (icy) waterfall located 4800-4900 m. Return downwards to get ready for the next day's capture of the peak.  Stay overnight in Bargah-e Sevom.

Day 3:

Along the way visit Yakhi (icy) Waterfall, the beautiful landscapes of Doberar Mountain and the sulfur hill. 6 hours climbing, we will capture the highest point at Iran plateau literary known as the Roof of Iran.
